The Access Control feature allows you to integrate your door control provider, Salto, Brivo, Peppero, or Kisi, into your Kube operator for each property. Once the integration is complete, the following features are available within Kube for management:
Mapping to spaces
Assignment of physical credentials (subject to agreement and availability with the door control provider)
Access Groups
Schedules
Booking unlock behavior
Door status monitoring
NOTE: The integration of your door control provider is completed during your onboarding by the Yardi Onboarding team. Do not make any changes to the door control provider settings without contacting Yardi technical support or your onboarder.
This article describes the access control settings menu.
Access control settings menu
Select Properties in the top menu.
Locate your property in the data grid and click the property's name. The Property Spaces screen appears.
Select Setup in the side menu and select the Access Control tab. The Settings menu appears.
Click the edit
button to change your booking buffer or GeFencing settings. See the end of this article for a screen reference.

Provider | Lists available door control providers. This setting is completed during the onboarding process. Do not make any selections or changes to this field without contacting Yardi technical support. |
IoT Key | Provided by the door control provider. This field label changes based on the provider selected. Do not enter any data or make changes to this field without contacting Yardi technical support. |
Credential Styles | Appears once a provider is selected. Controls the types of credentials that can be added. Do not make any selections or changes to this field without contacting Yardi technical support. |
Name | Provided by the door control provider and is unique per property. Do not enter any data or make changes to this field without contacting Yardi technical support. |
Booking Buffer Before (In Minutes) | Enter how long before a booking the doors assigned to the space can be unlocked. This setting applies to all doors configured at the property. For more information about assigning doors to spaces, see Mapping a door to a space. |
Booking Buffer After (In Minutes) | Enter how long after a booking the doors assigned to the space can be unlocked. This setting applies to all doors configured at the property. For more information about assigning doors to spaces, see Mapping a door to a space. |
Enable GeoFencing | Controls whether a door appears in a member's Member Portal to unlock when they are a certain geographical distance away from the property. Leave this option empty if the member should be allowed to unlock a door from anywhere.
NOTE: The distance is calculated using the member's device geolocation and the latitude and longitude coordinates resolved by Google's API for the property's address saved in Kube. |
