Contacts are those whose contact information you wish to enter into Kube but who do not fall into the member or lead categories, such as contractors. Contacts are for reference purposes only, and they cannot be the primary contact for contracts and they cannot make purchases or bookings. Kube compiles all contacts, leads, and members on the Contacts Dashboard.
You can archive, or make inactive, a contact to remove their record from the Contacts Dashboard. If the contact is a primary contact for a company, you cannot archive them. Assign a new primary contact to the company and archive the contact again. For more information, see Updating a company's primary contact.
You can reactivate a contact who has been archived to add their record back to the Contacts screen.
NOTE: Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.
To archive and activate a contact
Select Contacts in the top menu.
To archive a contact, locate the contact in the grid and click the Additional Options button next to the contact's name. Select Archive.
A confirmation prompt appears.
Click OK.
NOTE: If a second confirmation prompt appears, you cannot archive the contact because the contact is the primary contact of a company. Address the issue on the list and archive the contact again.
To activate a contact, switch to Archived using the toggle located towards the top right of the data grid.
Locate the contact in the grid and click the Additional Options button next to the contact's name. Select Activate.
A confirmation prompt appears.
Click OK.
