You can add roles in Kube to control the Kube screens and tasks that your internal users have access to. If you do not use a role, and it is not assigned to any internal users, you can archive it. Once you archive a role, you cannot assign it to internal users. If you have archived a role, you can reactivate it to assign it to internal users.
CAUTION: You cannot archive the default Owner role or any role that is currently assigned to an internal user.
To archive and activate roles
Select your Personal Profile in the top menu and select System Settings from the drop-down menu. The Operator Details screen appears.
Select the Security tab and select the onscreen Roles tab. The Roles screen appears.
To archive a role, locate the role in the grid and click the Archive button next to the role. A confirmation request appears.
Click OK.
To activate a role, click Archived located towards the top right of the data grid.
Locate the role in the grid and click the Activate button next to the role. A confirmation request appears.
Click OK.
