Archiving and activating companies

Updated over 3 months ago

You can archive a company to make it inactive, which prevents internal users from assigning services or members to the company. Once you archive a company, Kube archives all leads, members, and services, and you must reconfigure services if you reactivate the company in the future. You cannot archive a company with pending financial transactions, active contracts, pending amenity configurations, or active bookings.

NOTE: Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

To archive and activate companies

  1. Select Customers in the top menu and select Companies from the drop-down menu.

  2. To archive a company, locate the company in the grid and click the Additional Options button next to the company's name.

    1. Click Archive in the drop-down menu. A confirmation request appears.

    2. Click OK.

      NOTE:

      • If a second confirmation request appears, the company has pending financial transactions, active contracts, pending amenity configurations, or active bookings that prevent you from archiving it. Address the items in the list and try to archive the company again.

      • If the only active configurable amenity the company has is guest Wi-Fi, Kube automatically terminates any guest Wi-Fi accounts when archiving the company.

  3. To activate a company, click Archived located towards the top right of the data grid.

    1. Locate the company you want to activate and click the Additional Options button next to the company's name.

    2. Click Activate in the drop-down menu. A confirmation request appears.

    3. Click OK.
