Adding an access control schedule

An access control schedule controls door schedules at your properties. You can assign access control schedules to access groups and individual doors to control when members can unlock doors at a property and when doors automatically unlock. When you add an access control schedule, you add scheduled events that indicate when doors can be opened. If your property is not open during specific times or days, do not include those times and days in scheduled events you create.

TIP: You can add a scheduled event to an existing schedule. Click the Add button and select the existing schedule in the Name drop-down menu.

To add an access control schedule

  1. Select your Personal Profile in the top menu and select System Settings in the drop-down menu. The Operator Profile screen appears.

  2. Select Access Control in the side menu. The Schedules screen appears.

  3. Click the Add button.

  4. Complete the fields. For field descriptions, see the New Schedule Screen Reference at the end of this article.

  5. Click Save.

New Schedule Screen Reference

Name

Enter a name for the schedule or select an existing schedule from the drop down.

NOTE: If you want to add a scheduled event to an existing schedule, select the schedule name in the Name drop-down menu.

Public

Select this option to make the schedule available to members in the member portal.

NOTE: For information on using the Member Unlock Override feature, see Adding an access group.

Event Name

Enter a name for the scheduled event.

Limited Period

Select this option if the event occurs for a specific date range. A From and To Date field appear. If you do not select Limited Period, the scheduled event never expires.

NOTE: This option is automatically selected if you select Holiday.

Holiday

Select this option if the doors should not unlock or be unlocked the entire day or date range. The Day fields are hidden when this option is selected.

From/To Date

If you select Limited Period or Holiday, the From/To Date fields appear. Enter the date range during which the scheduled event is active.

From/To Time

Click the clock button to select the time range that the door can be unlocked for that day.

NOTE: If the 24/7 option is set, you cannot select times in these fields, and any previous selections are cleared.

24/7

If doors can be unlocked the entire day, click the box.

Days

Set the times on the days that the schedule applies to. Leave the From/To Time empty if the schedule does not apply to that day.

NOTE: These fields are hidden if Holiday is set.
