Changing the floor plan occupancy layer colors

After setting up your floors, you can customize the floor plan layer colors that appear to indicate the status of a space. Kube comes with the default floor plan layers, Occupancy, and Space Availability. This article describes updating the color mappings for each of these statuses.

NOTE: The default layers cannot be modified and are read only. If you would like to create a custom query with custom statuses, please reach out to Yardi technical support for assistance. For information about the custom layer, see Enabling the floor plan custom layer.

Changing the layer colors

  1. Select Properties in the top menu.

  2. Locate the property in the grid and click the property's name. The Property Spaces screen appears.

  3. Select Setup in the side menu. The Property Essentials screen appears.

  4. Select the Floors then Floor Plan Layers tabs. The Layer Settings screen appears.

  5. Click the edit button.

  6. Click the name of the Occupancy or Space Availability section.

  7. In the Color Mappings section, click on a color. The color picker appears.

  8. Use the slider to select a color or enter the hex number of the color you want to use. For a screen example, see the end of this article.

  9. Click Save. For an example of how the colors appear on the floor plan, see the end of this article.
