Using filters

Updated over 3 months ago

When you view a page with a property filter, Kube automatically applies your default property to the filter to only show data for that property. You can apply other filters to screens to limit the information shown in the tiles and data grid to only the information directly related to your filter selections. For more information about saving filters, see Saving a filter.

NOTES:

  • If you have not been designated a primary property, the dashboard you are viewing displays no information until a property or another filter is selected. For more information, see Adding an internal user.

  • Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

There are two types of filters in Kube:

  • Screen filters: Screen filters appear underneath the top menu or at the top right of the screen and apply your filter selections to the entire screen.

  • Report filters: Report filters slide out on the right side of the screen and apply your filter selections to the report. Kube filters all reports by your default property. You can change the filter as needed by changing the filter settings and clicking the Apply button to apply the filters to the report.

TIPS:

  • You can enter multiple filter terms in each filter field. The more filter terms you include, the more specific the information shown will be. You can use the Clear button to remove filters from the screen.

  • You can also add filters using tile filters. For more information, see Using tiles.
