How self-renewal configurations are applied

The self-renewal feature offers renewal options directly to members in their member portal. This feature provides configuration options that let your organization control contract terms, price increases, and discounts for space and amenity types.

Self-renewals can be customized to meet your organization's needs based on amenities, spaces, and contract terms.

This article explains how Kube evaluates self-renewal configuration rules and applies pricing adjustments.

How self-renewal configuration rules are applied

  1. Kube checks whether any contracts meet the eligibility requirements. For more information, see Contract eligibility rules for self-renewal.

  2. If eligible contracts exist, Kube checks the visibility timing settings. For more information, see Setting self-renewal visibility timing.

  3. Next, Kube compares the current contract term to the Available Terms and displays the options to the member. For more information, see Managing available terms for self-renewals.

  4. When the member selects a renewal term, Kube compares the current term and selected term to the pricing configuration and applies the appropriate adjustment to the Base or Net price. For more information about self-renewal configurations, see Self-renewal configurations.
