Setting self-renewal settings

The self-renewal feature offers renewal options directly to members in the Member Portal. This feature offers configuration options that allow your organization to control contract terms, price increases, and discounts for spaces and amenities.

This article describes the self-renewal settings.

NOTE: Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

Setting the self-renewal settings

  1. Select your Personal Profile in the top menu and select System Settings from the drop-down menu. The Operator Profile screen appears.

  2. Select Self-Renewal in the side menu. The Configuration menu appears.

  3. Select the Settings tab.

  4. Click the edit button. Edit the fields as desired. See the end of this article for a screen reference.

Allow Self-Renewals

When the self-renewal service is activated, this setting is on by default and cannot be turned off at this time.

Allow Self-Renewals on Contracts with Custom Tier Pricing

Choose whether self-renewals appear for contracts with products and services with custom pricing.

Custom Tier Discount Limit

If self-renewals are allowed on contracts with custom pricing, set the discount limit used for self-renewal when a contract uses Custom Tiered Pricing. If the final tier's discount is equal to or above this limit, Kube steps back through earlier tiers until it finds one below the limit; otherwise, it uses the base price.

Example: If the tiers are 10% > 35% > 39% > 40% > 50% and the limit is 40%, both 50% and 40% exceed the limit, so Kube uses the most recent tier below the limit (39%).
