Adding criteria to a checklist item

When a company is moving into or out of a space at a property, Kube creates a move record that can be viewed from the MIMO Tracker on the Community Dashboard. When Kube adds a move record, a checklist is generated for that move to keep track of tasks required for a smooth move in or move out process. Criteria can be assigned to the checklist items to determine when that checklist item appears for a move record.

Checklist criteria use contract types, and contract custom fields to determine when the checklist item appears. For more information about adding contract types and setting custom fields, see Adding a contract type and Customizing contract fields.

If no criteria are added to a checklist item, that checklist item appears on all move records.

This article describes adding a new move-in checklist item.

NOTE: Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

Adding criteria to a checklist item

  1. Select your Personal Profile in the top menu and select System Settings from the drop-down menu. The Operator Profile screen appears.

  2. Select Custom Fields in the side menu and select the Checklists tab. The Move In checklists menu appears.


    NOTE: The process for adding criteria to a move-out checklist item is the same and is not covered separately. For more information about adding a move-out checklist item, see Adding a move-out checklist item.


  3. Locate the parent list in the grid and click its name. The checklist menu appears.

  4. Click Edit and then Show Criteria.

  5. Select a Criteria Type from the drop down menu and complete the fields.


    NOTE: The fields that appear vary based on the criteria type selected. See the end of this article for a screen reference.


  6. Click Save.

Move In/Move Out

Checklist name that appears in the Checklist menu. This field cannot be modified. For more information, see Viewing MIMO information.

Use the blue plus button to add additional checklist items.

Show and Hide Criteria

NOTE: These buttons only appear once the checklist item is saved. It is recommended to add all the checklist items before the criteria. Multiple criteria can be selected for each checklist item. Select no criteria if the checklist item should be included on all move records.

Criteria Type: Select between Contract Type and Contract Custom Fields. The checklist item only appears on the move record if the contract with the space Kube adds the move record from matches the selection. For more information about these types, see Adding a contract type and Customizing contract fields.

Criteria: The data populated in the drop down menu varies based on the contract types and custom fields that have been configured. For more information about these types, see Adding a contract type and Customizing contract fields.

Operator: This option defaults to Is Equal To for all text and checkbox data type custom fields. Otherwise, select from Is Greater Than or Is Less Than.

Value: Enter the value that a custom field in the contract should match for the checklist item to appear. The accepted values in this field vary based on the data type of the custom field. For more information about these types, see Customizing contract fields.

Action: Use the red trash can to delete criteria or click Add to add additional criteria.
