Releasing telephone numbers on termination

Updated over 3 months ago

When a company’s contract expires or is terminated and the company does not want to keep the phone number from the contract, you can choose to keep the number in your property’s bank of available numbers or to release the number to the carrier, which removes it from your property's pool of numbers.

NOTES:

  • If your organization has not purchased Yardi Kube Voice, Kube does not show voice information.

  • Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

  • When you release a number, Kube returns the number to the carrier, and it no longer appears in your property's pool of available numbers. By default, all purchased numbers are set to release on termination.

To release telephone numbers on termination

  1. Select Properties in the top menu.

  2. Locate your property in the grid and click the property's name. The Property Spaces screen appears.

  3. Select Setup in the side menu and select the Voice, then Telephone Number tab.

  4. Locate the number in the grid, and click the three dot additional options button.

    1. For numbers already set to release, the Turn Off Release on Terminate option appears in the drop down menu.

    2. For numbers not set to release, the Turn On Release on Terminate option appears in the drop down menu.

  5. Make your selection. Kube automatically saves your selection.
