Assigning an alternate number to a company auto attendant

You can assign alternate phone numbers to a company auto attendant so that callers are connected to the auto attendant when they dial the alternate phone numbers. Up to 10 phone numbers (in addition to the auto attendant's assigned phone number) can be assigned to the auto attendant. NOTES:

  • If your organization has not purchased Yardi Kube Voice, Kube does not show voice information.

  • Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

To assign an alternate phone number to a company auto attendant

  1. Select Customers in the top menu and select Companies from the drop-down menu. The Companies screen appears.

  2. Locate the company in the grid and click the company's name. The Company Essentials window appears. Click Detailed View.

  3. Select Voice in the side menu and select the Auto Attendants tab. The Auto Attendants screen appears.

  4. Locate the auto attendant in the grid and click the auto attendant's name. The Auto Attendant Profile screen appears.

  5. Click the Edit button. The Alternate Numbers button appears.

  6. Click the Alternate Numbers button. The Alternate Numbers screen appears.

  7. Click the Edit button.

  8. Complete the fields. For field descriptions, see the Alternate Numbers Screen Reference at the end of this article.


    NOTE: You can add up to 10 alternate numbers.


  9. Click Save.

Distinctive Ring

This option does not apply to Auto Attendants. Skip this setting.

Phone Number

Select the alternate phone number that rings the auto attendant.

NOTE: Kube lists all unassigned phone numbers purchased by the company associated with the auto attendant.

Extension

Select the extension that shows on the member's caller ID when they receive a call from a caller who dialed the auto attendant's alternate number.

NOTE: This is an optional field.

This option does not apply to Auto Attendants. Skip this setting.
