Email address management

Kube AI offers inbound email management for prospects interested in your locations. Multiple email addresses can be configured with different settings.

This article describes managing Kube AI email addresses.

NOTE: Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

Adding email addresses

  1. Select your Personal Profile in the top menu and select System Settings from the drop-down menu. The Operator Profile screen appears.

  2. Select Kube AI in the side menu. The Chat settings menu appears. Select the Email tab.


    TIP: You can also access the email settings at the property level. Select Properties in the top menu, click the property's name, select Setup in the side menu, then the Kube AI tab. The steps and menu layouts are identical and are not covered separately.


  3. In either the Operator or Property Level Email section, click the three-dot additional options button in the Action column and select Customize Email from the drop-down menu. The Email Settings menu appears.

  4. Click Add New.


    NOTE: If you have not set up a domain for your Kube AI email service, contact Yardi technical support before continuing.


  5. Complete the fields. See the end of this section for a screen reference.

  6. Click Save.

Email

Enter a name for the mailbox and select a domain. If you have not already set up a domain, contact Yardi technical support for assistance.

Store Messages

Select this option to store inbound messages in the Communications Hub. Messages are retained after a page refresh or sign-out.

Create Leads

Inbound emails create lead records in Kube if you select this option.

Editing email addresses

  1. Select your Personal Profile in the top menu and select System Settings from the drop-down menu. The Operator Profile screen appears.

  2. Select Kube AI in the side menu. The Chat settings menu appears. Select the Email tab.


    TIP: You can also access the email settings at the property level. Select Properties in the top menu, click the property's name, select Setup in the side menu, then the Kube AI tab. The steps and menu layouts are identical and are not covered separately.


  3. In either the Operator or Property Level Email section, click the three-dot additional options button in the Action column and select Customize Email from the drop-down menu. The Email Settings menu appears.

  4. Locate the email address in the list you want to edit and click the edit button in the Action column. See the Adding email addresses section for more information about the fields.

  5. Click Save.

TIP: To archive an email address, click the archive button in the action column. To reactivate it, click the reactivate button.

Setting a default email address

  1. Select your Personal Profile in the top menu and select System Settings from the drop-down menu. The Operator Profile screen appears.

  2. Select Kube AI in the side menu. The Chat settings menu appears. Select the Email tab.

  3. In either the Operator or Property Level Email section, click the three-dot additional options button in the Action column and select Customize Email from the drop-down menu. The Email Settings menu appears.

  4. Locate the email address in the list and click the radio button in the Default column to set it as the default. Kube automatically saves the selection.
