Banning a member restricts them from accessing your organization's customer portals to make bookings or additional purchases. Members can be banned individually, or in bulk.
This article describes how to ban members.
NOTE: Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.
Banning a member
Select Customers in the top menu and select Members from the drop-down menu.
Locate the member in the grid and click the member's name. The Member Essentials window appears.
TIP: You can also ban a member by clicking the three dot additional options button and selecting Ban Member.
Click the Ban button. A Ban Member prompt appears.
Complete the fields.
Ban Reason
Select an option from the drop down of predefined ban reasons.Support Ticket URL
Enter the URL starting with https:// that provides a link to any supporting documentation for the ban.Property
Select the property the member is banned from.Additional Info
Enter additional details about the ban.Click Save.
A warning image
appears next to the member's name to indicate the member has been banned.
Banning multiple members
Select Customers in the top menu and select Companies from the drop-down menu.
Locate the company in the grid and click the company's name. The Company Essentials window appears.
Click Ban. The Ban Members prompt appears.
Complete the fields.
TIP: A banner is displayed in the prompt indicating the number of members who will be banned.
