Why do I need to add and then verify my bank account?
Whether for one time or recurring payments, a bank account on file must be verified to make payments. This is an electronic funds transfer (EFT) network rule that is in place for your protection.
How do I verify my bank account?
You can verify your bank account using one of two methods: instant verification or microdeposit verification. The steps for each method are described in Adding a payment method in the Member Portal.
How do I locate the small deposit amount that was deposited into my bank account?
Either from an online portal or a bank account statement, look for a small deposit amount with "ACCTverify" in its description.
What do I do if I cannot locate the small deposit amount that was deposited into my account?
If the deposit does not appear in your account within three business days, the bank account information entered was likely incorrect. Either try again or contact support for assistance.
What do I do if I cannot successfully verify my bank account?
If the microdeposit verification process fails, you have likely exceeded the number of attempts by entering the wrong deposit amount. Contact support for further assistance.
Do I have to reverify my bank account if it is deleted and then added again?
No. If you delete your bank account and add it again within a reasonable amount of time, the account does not need to be reverified.
