Adding a payment method in the Member Portal

The Member Portal lets you manage your company info, make bookings and payments, and more—all in one place.

You can add credit cards, debit cards, and bank accounts to make payments through the Member Portal. Check with your property manager if there are any payment types that are not accepted.

TIP: This article is intended to help your members with questions they may have about the Member Portal.

NOTE: Bank accounts must be verified before they can be used for payments.

This article describes adding a credit/debit card and bank account payment methods.

NOTES:

  • If you have not received your Welcome Email, please reach out to your property manager. This email contains all the information you need to log in and get started.

  • This option is only available if you are your company's primary contact or have been assigned the applicable role.

Adding a credit/debit card

  1. Log in to your member portal using the link provided in your welcome email. The home screen appears.


    NOTE: You may see fewer tiles than referenced in this article depending on your member role.


  2. Select the Billing & Payments tile.

  3. Click Account Settings. The Payment Settings menu appears.

  4. Click Add New Payment Method.

  5. Select Debit/Credit Card. The Payment Option menu appears.

  6. Complete the fields.

  7. Click Save. A success or failure message appears.


    NOTE: Contact support if you need assistance adding a payment method.


Adding and verifying a bank account using instant verification

  1. Log in to your member portal using the link provided in your welcome email. The home screen appears.


    NOTE: You may see fewer tiles than referenced in this article depending on your member role.


  2. Select the Billing & Payments tile.

  3. Click Account Settings. The Payment Settings menu appears.

  4. Click Add New Payment Method.

  5. Select Bank Account. Two options appear.


    NOTE: A bank account cannot be used for payments until it has been verified.


  6. Click Instantly Add Bank Account to be redirected to Finicity, a secure third-party Instant Account Verification processor. Prompts to complete the process appear. Click the close button to cancel the process at any time.

    1. Click Next to begin the process.

    2. Select your bank from the list or use the search bar located towards the top to locate your bank.

    3. Click Next to confirm the bank selection. FinBank will be used as an example for the next steps.

    4. Enter your username and password of your banking institution. Click Submit.

    5. Upon successful login, eligible bank accounts appear. Select the bank account you want to verify and use for payments in Kube. Click Save. A confirmation screen appears.

    6. Confirm the details on the screen and click Submit.

    7. The page automatically reloads and returns to the Member Portal, and the new bank account appears in the Payment Methods section of the My Account menu.

Adding and verifying a bank account using micro deposits

  1. Log in to your member portal using the link provided in your welcome email. The home screen appears.

  2. Select the Billing & Payments tile.

  3. Click Account Settings. The Payment Settings menu appears.

  4. Click Add New Payment Method.

  5. Select Bank Account. Two options appear.

  6. Click Manually Add Bank Account to verify your bank account using a micro deposit. Complete the fields.

    1. The bank account appears in the Payment Methods section with Pending listed next to it.


      NOTE: It may take 1-3 business days for the micro deposit to appear on the account, depending on the financial institution. Contact your bank for more details.


    2. Click the three dot additional options button and select Verify Deposit from the options. The Verify Bank Account prompt appears.

    3. Enter the deposit amount. For more information about micro deposits, see Bank account verification FAQs.


      TIP: In your bank statements, locate the transaction with "ACCTVERIFY" in its description.



      CAUTION: Do NOT attempt to guess the amount. This can cause delays in verifying the bank account. If you exceed the number of attempts and the account verification fails, contact support.


    4. Click Submit.
