Adding a bank deposit

When you deposit cash and check payments into your organization's physical bank account, you need to enter a bank deposit in Kube to link the physical bank deposit you made to the corresponding payments already entered in Kube.

Once you complete a deposit, Kube marks the corresponding payments as Deposited on the Payments screen.

NOTE: Depending on your assigned role and permissions and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

To add a bank deposit

  1. Select Accounting in the top menu and select Bank Deposits from the drop-down menu.

  2. Click the Add button.

  3. Complete the fields. See the end of this article for a screen reference.

  4. Select items to deposit from the Link Receipts to Bank Deposit section of the screen.

  5. Click Save.

NOTES:

  • Once you save your deposit, you can only edit the Memo field of the bank deposit.

  • Deposits can only be made for payments added in Kube. For more information, see Adding a cash or check payment.

  • Kube labels the deposited payments as Unreconciled until you reconcile them in Yardi Voyager Accounting. For more information, see the Voyager User's Manual in Yardi Client Central.

  • Payments are called receipts in Yardi Voyager Accounting.
