Changing the start date of a future active contract

If you need to change the start date of a future active contract to an earlier start date, this can be done using the Change Move-In feature.

NOTE: Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

To change a future active contract's start date

  1. Select Customers in the top menu and select Contracts from the drop-down menu.

  2. Locate the future active contract in the grid and click the Additional Options button. Select Change Move-In.


    TIP: If you want to create a standard amendment, select Amend contract instead. For more information about amending a contract, see Amending an active contract.


  3. The Terms & Company screen appears.

  4. In the Amendment Date field, choose the current date or any date in the future.

  5. Click Save & Continue.


    NOTE: You cannot make any other changes to the contract with this amendment type. To change Products & Services or other contract information, create a standard amendment.


  6. Select Activate in the side menu. Confirm the contract details.

  7. Select charges to invoice, their invoice template, and their due date.


    NOTE: Do not make any selections if Kube should post the charges as open charges when the contract activates.


  8. Click Activate Amendment.
