After you add a space, you can add cancellation policy tiers and fees for the space. A space's cancellation policy and fees determine how close to a booking start time a member can cancel a booking without a cancellation fee and, should they cancel within the cancellation period, the cancellation fee they pay. You can also set whether a member can edit their booking within the cancellation period. For more information, see Restricting booking edits within the cancellation period.

Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.
A space's cancellation policy and fees do not apply to the operator, and the operator can choose to apply fees or not when canceling a booking in Kube.
To add a space cancellation policy and fees
Select Spaces in the top menu and then List from the drop down.
Locate the space in the grid and click the space's name. The Space Contracts screen appears.
Select Setup in the side menu and select the Cancelation Policy tab.
Click the Edit button.
Complete the fields. For field descriptions, see the Space Cancelation Policy Screen Reference at the end of this article.
Click Save.

Space Cancelation Policy Screen Reference
Booking Time | Enables a cancellation policy for the selected type of booking duration. |
Period From/Period To | Sets the timeframe within which Kube charges a fee for booking cancellations. |
Duration | Unit of measure for the period fields. The duration can be hours, days, weeks, or months. |
Retail Pricing Fee | Sets the percentage of the retail booking cost that the member pays if canceling within the cancellation period.
NOTE: Members in retail pricing groups pay the retail pricing fee. Kube adds all new members to the retail price group. For more information, see Adding a booking discount group. |
Member Pricing Fee | Sets the percentage of the member booking cost that the member pays if canceling within the cancellation period.
NOTE: Members added to member pricing groups pay the member pricing fee. For more information, see Adding a booking discount group. |
Additional Tiers | Use the add button to create up to 5 cancellation period tiers per Booking Time. |
