Setting the default user security template

Updated over 3 months ago

A user security template defines the permissions related to various Voyager functions, such as posting periods. Kube comes with two default templates, but additional user security templates can be created in Voyager and selected in Kube. For more information, please reach out to your Voyager representative.

This article covers setting a default security template for your internal users.

NOTE: Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

Setting the Default User Security Template

  1. Select your Personal Profile in the top menu and select System Settings from the drop-down menu. The Operator Profile screen appears.

  2. Select the Settings tab.

  3. Click the Edit button.

  4. In the User Security Template section, make your selection.

  5. Click Save.

TIP: The next step in the Kube system setup process is to set up external reference caption labels if applicable. For more information, see Setting up external reference captions.
