Updated over 3 months ago

This release introduces new features, increases stability, and improves the function of existing features.

New Features

For more information about our most recent major release and new features, see Kube v20 March 2025. This release additionally introduces the following new features:

  • Booking Amenities: A new Internal Only option has been added to the Booking Amenity selection screen. Selecting this option hides the amenity from the Prospect and Member Portals and only displays the amenity internally for a new booking. For more information, see Selecting amenities to offer at time of booking.

  • Click to Cancel: The option to set when contracts terminate, either immediately or at the end of their term, has been added to the Click to Cancel feature. For more information about where to configure this setting, see Setting default contract options. Additionally, new automated emails have been added. One is sent to the member to confirm their cancellation, and another to the property to notify the property that a cancellation has occurred. For more information about these emails, see Email template triggers and recipients.

  • Company Overview: The Company Overview menu has been redesigned. The menu now displays more details about contracts and the spaces a company occupies. For more information, see Company Overview main information section.

  • Email Workflows: A new email workflow has been added called Amenity and Package Purchases. Some amenity and package purchases, whether through the Marketplace or a booking, may require additional tasks to be completed or a notification to be sent to the property. For more information about adding this email workflow, see Adding an amenity and package purchases email workflow.

  • Late Fees: Late fees can now be customized per company and per property the company conducts business with. For more information, see Setting company custom late fees.

  • Spaces: Cancellation fees for bookings now support 0%. For more information about setting a cancellation policy, see Adding a space cancellation policy and fees.

Updates

We have updated the following features in Kube and increased the stability and security of existing Kube features as we continue to improve Kube:

Bookings

Companies

  • The process of setting a default payment method has been improved. The option has been moved to an additional options menu to improve the selection process and prevent unintentionally removing the default designation from the payment method. For more information, see Setting a company's default payment method.

  • Business information such as mailing and billing addresses, and VAT and Registration numbers can now be stored per property a company conducts business with. This additional property information can either be managed through the Company Essentials menu, or it can be set if the information is captured through the ySign Express form. For more information about enabling the ySign Express form option, see Setting default contract options and Setting property default contract options.

  • For ease of use, access to the Activity Feed for company contacts has been added to the Contacts menu.

  • A new Date Created column has been added to the Company Ledger to make it easier to view when a transaction took place.

  • For improved billing management, the option to download a PDF or Excel file of company billing information, such as open charges, invoiced charges, etc., has been added.

Contracts

  • Like ySign Express, if subscribed, you can now set whether ySign communicated contracts are automatically activated after the signing criteria are met. For more information, see Setting default contract options.

  • The Break Dates functionality has been enhanced. Where previously only one break date could be added, the field now supports adding multiple break dates. For more information, see Creating a contract.

Dashboards and Listing Menus

  • A new home page dashboard has been added called IT Health. Users can now quickly view stats and information about the IT devices on-site at their properties. For more information about this home page dashboard, see IT Health Home Page overview.

  • There are now three main home page dashboards available: Community, Property, and IT Health. Users can toggle between the dashboards made available to them using the Dashboard Picker. For more information, see Home Page Dashboards.

  • New screen filters have been added to the Contracts Dashboard. To easily find contracts still needing attention for terminations or renewals, contracts that already have a renewal or termination schedule can be hidden. Additionally, contracts can be further filtered by company type and Contract ID. For more information about screen filters, see Screen filters glossary.

  • A new screen filter has been added to the Companies Dashboard. Companies can now be filtered by their default payment method. For more information about screen filters, see Screen filters glossary.

  • A new screen filter has been added to the Open Charges menu. Charges can now be filtered by Company Type and Booking ID. For more information about screen filters, see Screen filters glossary.

Members

  • Banning a member can now be done from the three dot additional options menu.

  • Member bans can now be lifted. For more information, see Unbanning a member.

  • The archive option has been added to the Member Essentials.

  • Memberships can now be managed in bulk. For more information, see Reviewing and editing memberships.

Payment Processing

Prospect and Member Portal

  • The Member Self Serve feature has been expanded. Members now have the option of upgrading from one membership to another in their Member Portal.

  • In addition to setting whether a company without a contract can view events in the Member Portal, you can now also set whether the member can RSVP to the event when their company does not have an active contract. For more information, see Setting default member portal options.

  • Property visibility in the Member Portal can now be set to only list properties where there is an active contract. For more information, see Setting default member portal options.
