Up to 20 different custom advanced tour fields can be customized to meet your organization's needs. These fields can store information about the tour, information that needs to be collected before a tour, or anything required for a successful tour booking and completion. When you customize a custom tour field, you specify the field name and data type. Kube then displays these custom fields on the Book a Tour form.
This article describes customizing tour custom fields.
NOTE: Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.
CAUTION: Once a custom field data type is selected and the field has been used, this selection cannot be changed. If you would like to update a data type, please reach out to Yardi technical support.
To customize advanced tour custom fields
Select your Personal Profile in the top menu and select System Settings from the drop-down menu. The Operator Profile screen appears.
Select Custom Fields in the side menu, then the Tours and Tour Custom fields tabs.
The Book a Tour Custom Fields menu appears.
Select the edit
button.Enter your custom field names into the fields you want to customize and select a data type. See the end of this article for a screen reference.
Click Save.
NOTE: Only the fields that have been customized appear on the Book a Tour form.

Custom Field | Displays the order custom fields appear in the Custom Field menu for a space. |
Label Text | The text entered in this field appears as the label for the custom field in the Custom Field menu for a space. |
Data Type | Select the data type the field should support when users add information to the field. The following data types are available:

Decimal Places | This option only becomes active if the Number data type is selected. This field allows you to enter a numeric value for how many decimal places the number field supports. If only whole numbers should be entered, enter 0 into this field. |
Mandatory | Select whether the custom field is required before the page can be saved. Kube indicates if the field is required with a red asterisk (*). |
Query | This column only appears if a custom list query has been created. For assistance with creating a list using a query, please reach out to Yardi technical support. |
List Values | This field becomes active when the List data type is selected. This field must be filled out in the following format:
