Selecting whether a member can only book using credits

If your organization is set up for members to book using credits, you can set whether members have to exclusively use credits to make a booking. When a company is first created, this setting defaults to the system setting. For more information, see Setting default company group options. Otherwise, you can customize this setting per company and member.

When the Book With Credits Only setting is set to Yes, when a member makes a booking through their member portal they will not see the currency values of spaces. Only credit values of the spaces are displayed. Members also only have the option of paying using their company and member booking credits unless there are overages or additional amenities added to the booking. In this case, the member has the option of using a different payment method to pay for the overages and amenity costs.

This article describes updating this setting at the member level.

NOTES:

  • Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

  • You can update the company's only book using credits setting to update all of that company's members at the same time. For more information, see Selecting whether a company's members can only book using credits.

Selecting whether a member can book using only booking credits

  1. Select Customers in the top menu and select Members from the drop-down menu.

  2. Locate the member in the grid and click the member's name. The Member Essentials window appears. Click Detailed View.

  3. Select Groups & Credits in the side menu.

  4. Click the Edit button.

  5. Select a Book With Credits Only option.

  6. Click Save. A confirmation request appears.

  7. Click OK.
