A Consumer Pricing Index (CPI) tracks the average change in prices over a certain amount of time. These indexes can then be used to determine the next price increase on a contract when an escalation is set to occur. When used with contract price escalations, Kube takes the higher percentage between the set price escalation and the CPI. This article describes CPI management tasks.
NOTE: Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.
Editing a pricing inflation index (CPI)
Select your Personal Profile in the top menu and select System Settings from the drop-down menu. The Operator Profile screen appears.
Select Pricing Management in the side menu. The Pricing Forecasts menu appears.
Select the Pricing Inflation Indexes (CPI) tab.
Locate the CPI in the grid and click the country name in the Country column. The CPI menu appears.
Click Edit. For more information about the fields, see Adding a pricing inflation index.
Click Save.
Viewing a pricing inflation index (CPI)
Select your Personal Profile in the top menu and select System Settings from the drop-down menu. The Operator Profile screen appears.
Select Pricing Management in the side menu. The Pricing Forecasts menu appears.
Select the Pricing Inflation Indexes (CPI) tab.
Locate the CPI in the grid and click the country name in the Country column. The CPI menu appears.
TIP: Click History to view all the changes made to the CPI.
Click Close to close the slide out.
Viewing a pricing inflation index's (CPI) history
Select your Personal Profile in the top menu and select System Settings from the drop-down menu. The Operator Profile screen appears.
Select Pricing Management in the side menu. The Pricing Forecasts menu appears.
Select the Pricing Inflation Indexes (CPI) tab.
In the History column, click the black eye button. The CPI slideout menu appears.
Click Close twice to return to the previous menu.
