Lead to member flow overview (Prospect Portal)

Updated over 3 months ago

The Prospect Portal is where prospects, or potential customers, purchase products and services from you. When a prospect makes a Prospect Portal account, Kube adds them as a lead in Kube. Once a lead completes a purchase or booking in the Prospect Portal, Kube converts the lead to a member in Kube.

This article covers how prospects become members and includes visual examples of what prospects experience during this process.

Lead to member flow

  1. The prospect visits the Prospect Portal and adds items to their shopping cart from the Memberships menu or selects a Space to book.

NOTE: Prospects can land on the Prospect Portal by browsing the internet or by being redirected from Yardi Internet Listing Services (ILS), should your organization list properties on Yardi ILS. For more information, see Syncing, publishing, and unpublishing a property to Yardi ILS.

    1. The prospect begins the checkout process by clicking the Cart located towards the top right and then Continue. The Sign Up screen appears.

    2. The prospect begins the booking process by selecting a date and time for a space and selecting Confirm Selection. The booking details page appears, and they complete the prompts until the Sign Up screen appears.

  2. The prospect completes the Sign Up page fields and clicks Sign Up.

TIP: If the prospect already created an account, they can click Log In located towards the top right or the bottom of the page.

  3. The page reloads to the cart or booking confirmation screen.

    NOTES:

    • After the prospect clicks Sign Up, Kube emails the prospect the Sign Up email, adds them as a lead in Kube, and creates a new company.

    • When Kube adds a lead that came from the Prospect Portal or Yardi ILS, it automatically assigns Yardi as the lead's major and Prospect Portal or Yardi ILS as the lead's minor, depending on where the lead came from. The major and minor labels stay with the lead's record through conversion to member status and archiving.

  4. The lead adds their Payment Method and completes the checkout or booking process. The Member Portal login screen appears.

    NOTES:

    • After the lead completes their purchase or booking, Kube converts them to a member in Kube and grants the member access to the Member Portal.

    • The member inherits their roles from the system settings. For more information, see Setting default member portal options.

  5. The member logs in, and their Home Page appears.

NOTE: If the member purchased any configurable amenities, such as Voice or Data amenities, at this stage, they are prompted to configure the amenities or continue to the home page.
