Why doesn't my space show on the Bookings Calendar in Kube, the Member Portal, or the Prospect Portal?

If a space is not set to be bookable by admins, you will not see it on the Kube Bookings Menus. Likewise, if it is not set to be bookable by members or prospects, they will not see it in the Member Portal or the Prospect Portal, respectively. For more information, see Setting who can book a space.

Why can't I make a booking for a certain duration of time?

If a space is not set to be bookable for all durations of time, you can only book in the enabled durations. For more information, see Setting who can book a space.

Why can't I edit or cancel a booking?

Several situations could prevent you from canceling or editing a booking:

  1. If the booking occurs on a past day, you cannot edit or cancel it.

  2. If the booking used Pay Now for either the booking cost or amenity and overage costs, you cannot edit or cancel it.

  3. If the booking is a monthly booking or if the space is included in a contract, you cannot edit the booking from the Bookings Menus. You must amend the contract instead. For more information, see Amending an active contract.

  4. If there are pending amenity configurations for the booking, you must configure or cancel the amenity configurations before editing or canceling the booking.

  5. If the booking is a third-party booking synced from Google Calendar. For more information, see Google Calendar overview.

How do I charge a cancellation fee for a booking?

To charge a cancellation fee for a canceled booking, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the space has a cancellation policy and that you are canceling the booking within the cancellation window that incurs a fee. For more information, see Adding a space cancellation policy and fees.

  2. Cancel the booking and select the Cancel with Cancellation Fee option. For more information, see Canceling a booking.

TIP: You can also manually add a charge for a cancellation fee through the Charges screen. For more information, see Adding a custom charge.

Can I cancel a booking without charging a cancellation fee?

Yes, when canceling the booking, select the Cancel without Cancellation Fee option. For more information, see Canceling a booking.

Why can't I apply a cancellation fee to a booking?

If a space does not have a cancellation policy, you cannot charge a cancellation fee when you cancel the booking. For more information, see Adding a space cancellation policy and fees.

How does Kube add, adjust, or delete charges when I add, edit, or cancel bookings?

Depending on the action you take and the payment method used in the booking, Kube automatically adjusts charges.

Can I control who can book my spaces?

Yes, you can control whether admins (internal users), members, and prospects can book your spaces. For more information, see Setting who can book a space.

How do I include amenities in bookings?

For an amenity to be an optional add-on or automatically included in a booking, it must be selected on the space's Booking Amenities screen. For more information, see Selecting amenities to offer at time of booking.

Can hours/credits be used to pay for amenities?

No, hours/credits can only be used towards the booking cost. You must either select Pay Now or Bill Later to pay for any non-booking cost charges.

How do I make a recurring booking?

When you make a booking, you can select the Recurring option to make a recurring booking. For more information, see Making a short-term booking.

Does Kube integrate with third-party booking sites?

No, at the time of writing, Kube does not integrate directly with third-party booking sites. Instead, Kube integrates with Google Calendar to manage third-party bookings. For more information, see Google Calendar overview.

Can members, prospects, and internal users apply discounts to bookings?

Yes, you can assign blanket discounts to members and prospects with booking discount groups. For more information, see Adding a booking discount group.
