Setting member outgoing call configurations

Updated over 3 months ago

You can prevent members from making certain types of calls by setting outgoing call procedures. By default, all outgoing call options are enabled until you edit them.

This article is part of the Kube voice flow. For more information, see Kube setup checklist.

NOTES:

  • If your organization has not purchased Yardi Kube Voice, Kube does not show voice information.

  • Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

You can customize outgoing call procedures for the following options:

  • Outgoing Calls: Allow or prevent the member from making different types of outgoing calls.

  • Initiating Call Forward Transfers: Allow or prevent the member from forwarding different types of calls.

  • Being Forwarded/Transferred: Allow or prevent the member from receiving different types of forwarded calls.

  • Line ID Blocking: Allow or prevent the member's caller ID from showing when making outgoing calls.

To set member outgoing call configurations

  1. Select Customers in the top menu and select Members from the drop-down menu.

  2. Locate the member in the grid and click the member's name. The Member Essentials window appears. Click Detailed View.

  3. Select Voice in the side menu and select the Outgoing Calls tab.

  4. Click the Edit button.

  5. Click the Custom Settings box to enable custom Outgoing Call selections.

  6. In each section, select whether Kube should allow the type of call in the Permitted column.

    NOTES:

    • Click each onscreen tab to view the call configuration options for that section.

    • In the Line ID Blocking section, select whether Kube should block the member's caller ID when making outgoing calls in the Block Calling Line ID on Outgoing Calls column.

  7. Click Save.

TIP: The next step in the Kube voice process is to configure system reception hunt group settings. For more information, see Configuring system reception hunt group settings.
