You can enable simultaneous bookings to allow multiple members to book a single space at the same time using the Bookings Calendar.
Allowing simultaneous bookings prevents you from entering multiple spaces of the same type in Kube. For example, if you have an area of your property with 30 dedicated desks, rather than entering 30 individual dedicated desks into Kube, you can enter one space that allows 30 simultaneous bookings.
Two fields on the Space Essentials screen control simultaneous bookings. The Maximum Number of Seats for This Space field determines how many simultaneous bookings are allowed for the space, and the Capacity field determines how many members can use one seat at a time. For example, if your property has an area with 10 dedicated desks with 2 seats per desk, you could create one dedicated desk space type and set the Maximum Number of Seats for This Space field to 10 and the Capacity field to 2, rather than creating 10 individual dedicated desk spaces each with a capacity of 2.
NOTE: Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.
TIP: If you do not want to enable simultaneous bookings for a space, set the Maximum Number of Seats for This Space to 1. You can still set the Capacity field to indicate how many people the space can accommodate.
To enable simultaneous bookings for a space
Select Spaces in the top menu and then List from the drop down.
Locate the space in the grid and click the space's name. The Space Contracts screen appears.
NOTE: If you have not added the space yet, see Adding a space.
Select Setup in the side menu. The Space Essentials screen appears.
Click the Edit button.
Complete the Maximum Number of Seats for This Space field.
NOTE: You can enter a maximum of 100 seats.
Complete the Capacity field.
NOTE: A minimum of 1 must be entered in this field.
Click Save.
