An activity is an action that occurred that you want to note in the Activity Feed. The Activity Feed is a customer relationship management tool that allows you to add notes, tasks, activity logs, files, tours, and events to different records in Kube.
Kube compiles Activity Feed events, tasks, and tours in the Activity Calendar and all Activity Feed items, such as contract activity on the Activity Feed tab. For more information, see Activity Calendar screen overview and Activity Feed.
NOTE: Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed,
To log an activity to the Activity Feed
Select either Customers > Members, Leads, or Contacts in the top menu.
Locate the user's record in the grid and click the Add/View Activity button.
TIP: You can also access the Activity Feed from the Contacts menu when viewing a company record.
Click the Log Activity tab.
Complete the fields. For field descriptions, see the New Activity Screen Reference at the end of this article.
Click Submit.
New Activity Screen Reference
Type | Select Call, Email, Meeting, To Do, or Inquiry. |
Completed Date | Select the date the activity was completed. |
Attendees | Select who attended the activity by either typing their name in the field or clicking the Additional Options button to select their name from a list. |
Comments | You can tag internal users in notes you add. Type @ and then their name to select it from the suggested list.
NOTE: Kube shows a notification when the tagged person logs into Kube. |
