Setting member sequential incoming call forwarding

Sequential ring call forwarding rings a list of phone numbers in the order you select during specified times of the day, based upon the property’s business hours. You can enable sequential ring call forwarding to customize call forwarding for your members.

NOTES:

  • If your organization has not purchased Yardi Kube Voice, Kube does not show voice information.

  • Your Kube role or permissions to access Kube functions determines whether you can access this menu. For more information, see Roles & Permissions.

  • If you need to change your voice business hours, contact Yardi technical support.

To set member sequential incoming call forwarding

  1. Select Customers in the top menu and select Members from the drop-down menu.

  2. Locate the member in the grid and click the member's name. The Member Essentials screen appears.

  3. Select Voice in the side menu and select the Incoming Calls tab.

  4. Click the Edit button.

  5. In the Sequential Ring section, select the configurations for the sequential ring.


    NOTE: This option is only available for Physical voice profiles.



    Use Base Location First

    Rings the member's physical phone before ringing the sequential numbers.


    Number of Rings for Base Location

    Select the number of times Kube rings the member's physical phone before ringing the first number on the List of Added Sequential list.

    NOTE: A single ring takes about six seconds.


    Continue the Search Process if Base Location is Busy

    Whether Kube rings the sequential numbers when the member is already on a call.


    Enable Caller to Skip Search Process

    Select whether the rule is active during your property's business hours or all the time.

    CAUTION: Do not add more than one rule for a time schedule (for example, do not add two rules for Business Hours).

  6. In the List of Added Sequential section, click the Add button. Complete the fields. See the end of this article for a screen reference.

  7. Next, add the phone numbers that should be rang in the order they should be rang, and for how long.


    NOTE: Each ring is about six seconds.


    CAUTION: If the voicemail of any of the numbers picks up during the sequential ring sequence, the sequence will end.


  8. Click Save.

Description

Name of the sequential call forwarding rule.

Use Sequential Ring Personal

Whether the sequential ring rule is active or not.

Selected Time Schedule

Select whether the rule is active during your property's business hours or all the time.

CAUTION: Do not add more than one rule for a time schedule (for example, do not add two rules for Business Hours).
