Customizing lead status labels

You categorize your leads with Lead Status labels to help track lead conversion. When you update a lead's status, you can also select a reason for the change to further track lead progression. You can customize both of these selection options to fit your organization's lead-tracking needs.

NOTE: When you change a lead's status to Dead Lead, the Lead Status Change Reason field is mandatory.

To customize lead status labels

  1. Select your Personal Profile in the top menu and select System Settings from the drop-down menu. The Operator Profile screen appears.

  2. Select Custom Fields in the side menu and select the CRM and Lead Status tabs.

  3. Click the Add button.

  4. In the Lead Status Name field, enter the lead status name.

  5. In the Lead Status Change Reasons section, enter the change reason in the Lead Status Change Reason Name field and click the Add button.


    TIP: Repeat this step for every change reason you want to add.


  6. Click Save.
