Default home page tiles and their forms

Updated over 3 months ago

Kube comes with default section tiles and setup forms that work out of the box for the Visitor Management App. There are four section tiles. Each section can be renamed, but the defaults are as follows:

  • Delivery

  • Check In/Out

  • Visit Employee

  • Shop Now

This article provides an example of each section and its default Setup Form. For information on customizing the order, name, and icon of the section as well as the text of the home page, see Customizing the home page section tiles and text.

NOTES:

  • Because of the advanced nature of the tile Setup Forms, this article provides examples only and does not provide any information on modifying the sequence, creating parent and child sequences, or creating a new form. For assistance customizing a form, reach out to Yardi technical support.

  • The steps for viewing the home page tiles and their forms is almost identical at the property level. Select Properties from the top menu, then Setup and Visitor Management. The article then picks up at step 3 in each section.

Setup Form In Brief Screen Reference

Confirmation Message Icon

The icon that appears over the confirmation message once a visitor submits a form.

Add Member Name

Set this option if the member's name should be appended to the beginning of the message in the Confirmation Message field.

Confirmation Message

The message that displays below the icon after a visitor successfully submits all pages of a form. If the Add Member Name selector has been set, omit the beginning of the message where the member's name will be added.

Title

The text that is displayed at the top of each page of a form. The title should describe the form and provide guidance to the visitor about what the form is requesting.

Label

Plain text field. The Type selected determines where and if this text is displayed.

EXAMPLE: The Label text appears on the Button Type.

Sequence

Numerical value field that determines the order the selected Types are displayed on each page of the form. The sequence starts at one, and each sequence number must be unique and cannot repeat.

Type

An interactive or read only field that appears in the form. For more information on each Type and how it appears in the Visitor Management app, see Setup form types glossary.

Mandatory

Set this option if the field must be selected or filled out in order for the visitor to proceed to the next page of the form.

Value

The text or values that appear in the Visitor Management App for each Type. For information on the different formats required for this column, see Setup form types glossary.

NOTE: This field may not always be required for some Types.

Parent Sequence

This drop down populates with the Sequence numbers and allows you to set up multiple levels in a form. For example, selecting a radio button can then have a visitor select from a drop down Select Type list.

NOTE: Because of the advanced nature of properly selecting sequences, this is not covered in this article. For assistance, reach out to Yardi technical support.

Parent Value

This drop down list populates with the options listed in the selected Parent Sequence. If each option in the parent sequence does not need a subsequent child option, do not create the sequence.

NOTE: Because of the advanced nature of setting sequences and choosing the correct parent to child relationship in the form, this is not covered in this article. For assistance, reach out to Yardi technical support.
